Our take
I wanted a blender that could also chop, and this Oster Classic fits the bill. The 6-cup jar is good for smoothies, and the 3-cup chopper handles onions and garlic nicely. 16 speeds give plenty of control, but I find myself using just a few. The stainless steel finish looks sleek, but the plastic base feels a bit cheap. For $67, it's a decent value, but the motor struggles with ice. It's fine for soft foods, just don't expect a performance blender.
